Cowan Branch Library

The Cowan Branch Library is part of a nearly 90 year old tradition in Cowan. The first Cowan library started in 1930, and there has been a library here ever since. When the regional Highland Rim Library System dissolved, the City of Cowan picked up the pieces to maintain the Cowan Branch Library. Offering over 2,500 volumes within its own stacks, and many more available through rotational book loans with the Franklin County Library, the Cowan Branch Library your hometown resource to keep up with your reading list, delve into research, or find the perfect book to inspire your child to read.
